This critical role is responsible for end-to-end patient care coordination, caregiver scheduling, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, and daily client service delivery. If you have a background in healthcare administration, home care dispatching, medical scheduling, or Medicaid service coordination, this dynamic role offers steady work, supportive leadership, and growth opportunities. Core Responsibilities & Essential Duties * Caregiver & Patient Scheduling: Oversee daily roster management, matching home health aides and caregivers with client care plans across Central Virginia. * Shift & Coverage Management: Manage open shifts, call-outs, schedule changes, urgent cancellations, and immediate reassignments to ensure uninterrupted patient care. * Electronic Visit Verification (EVV): Perform real-time EVV tracking, visit verification, attendance reconciliation, and resolve EVV exceptions for billing compliance. * On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekend and after-hours emergency dispatching and care coordination. * Interdisciplinary Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between patients, family members, field caregivers, RN Supervisors, and administrative management. * Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, HIPAA-compliant patient files, authorization records, and visit logs within care management software platforms. Preferred Qualifications & Core Competencies * Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field is a plus. * Experience: 2+ years of experience in healthcare scheduling, medical office administration, home health coordination, or patient services. * Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) software and Electronic Health Records (EHR). * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). * Experience with Medicaid authorizations, Plans of Care (POC), and home care compliance standards. * Soft Skills: Outstanding phone etiquette, conflict resolution, crisis management, multitasking, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
