Registered Nurse (RN)

We have openings (all shifts‑Full time, part time, per‑diem) for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our "CARE" team providing compassionate care and advocacy for our residents while being respectful and empathetic of their needs. Essential Job Duties That Must Be Safely Performed with or Without Reasonable Accommodation Provide compassionate care and advocate for our residents while being respectful and empathetic of their needs. Review residents’ records and complete assessments as appropriate (skin integrity, falls, bladder, etc.) to establish the resident’s functional status and care needs. Administer medications, treatments, and care for each resident as prescribed in the care plan. Ensure accuracy in medication orders* and medication counts*. Receive and document receipt of medications from pharmacy; put medications away in med carts/med rooms after receipt. (Routine medication orders are normally delivered on 3‑11 or 11‑7 shift) Provide hand‑off report to incoming Licensed Nurse, and to the Nurse Manager or Supervisor as needed. Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times. Attend mandatory facility in‑services and licensure staff meetings at least four times per year; stay abreast of current trends in nursing care and pursue continued growth. Required Job Skills Knowledge of nursing practices and techniques to provide a high level of resident care. Knowledge of supervisory techniques. Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal. Cooperative and effective work style within an interdisciplinary team. Certification in CPR. Education / Experience Current Registered Nursing RN licensure in the State of Maine and a graduate of an approved nursing school.
