Overview Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care) – Sitka, Alaska, United States. This travel temporary assignment begins on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,598 – $2,726 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour days Start date: 09/14/2026 (or sooner after background processing) Setting: outpatient rehabilitation services with pediatric components Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC; housing and flights not provided Responsibilities Conduct SLP evaluations and establish therapy plans with measurable goals for adults and pediatrics Implement, supervise, and adjust therapy interventions to optimize patient outcomes Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and prognoses in the medical record per policy Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals; participate in care conferences and rounds Develop, teach, and monitor home exercise programs; provide clear instructions to patients and families Maintain appropriate clinical space, equipment, and supply inventory; comply with confidentiality and quality standards Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program CCC-SLP credential required State of Alaska license in Speech-Language Pathology required at time of submittal Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Pediatric outpatient experience required Flu vaccine required Ability to work in outpatient clinic settings with a diverse patient population Benefits and Support Guaranteed 40 hours per week 13-week travel assignment No employer-provided housing or flights; rate is all inclusive Ongoing assignment support and coordination through the hiring organization Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
