CNC Programmer III
Woodward – Santa Clarita, CA | 1st Shift
Woodward is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Santa Clarita, supporting the production of precision aerospace components.
Responsibilities:
- Program and optimize CNC machines, including 5-axis machining equipment .
- Use Mastercam and Esprit to develop and edit CNC programs.
- Work with Okuma CNC machines to support precision machining operations.
- Read engineering drawings and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times, tooling, and production efficiency.
- Work closely with machinists and manufacturing engineers to support production.
Requirements:
- Strong CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on 5-axis CNC programming experience is essential.
- Experience with Mastercam and/or Esprit.
- Experience with Okuma CNC machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
