As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with professional communication and customer service. In this armed post, you will bring reliability, teamwork, and integrity to each shift while using your experience to respond to site needs with agility and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, maintaining professional presence and following all applicable use of force and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
