Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments across assigned healthcare settings Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and respiratory documentation Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management Requirements: Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas (in good standing) Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care, long-term care, or similar setting preferred Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS a plus Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and varying patient populations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams Reliable, flexible, and available for PRN/per diem scheduling as needed About Us: MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is a trusted healthcare staffing partner dedicated to connecting skilled nursing professionals with quality opportunities across Texas and beyond.
