Regional Quality Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Quality Safety Manager to oversee our operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating regional activities to achieve financial and strategic goals. They will assist in ensuring the Company is in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to our business. Develop, implement, and monitor programs and processes designed to reduce cost, frequencies and improve efficiencies to remain competitive in the marketplace.

This job is remote however, the availability to travel is necessary.

Job Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor loss prevention programs designed to mitigate risk and loss.
• Ensure field compliance with company policies and procedures, DOT, OSHA and environmental regulations, and state and local laws.
• Perform equipment and facility inspections; identify hazards and potential risk; recommend appropriate corrective action.
• Analyze and monitor quality and safety trends; report findings; recommend corrective action, when appropriate.
• Assist management and employees with risk assessment and determining cause; recommend appropriate corrective action.
• Provide safety and quality training and development for managers and employees.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, industrial engineering or related field of study and five or more years of quality and safety experience in the auto transport industry; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Solid working knowledge and understanding of DOT (FMCSR) and OSHA regulations.
• Previous experience in a union environment is preferred.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time.
• Excellent communication, training and inspection skills.
• Proficient in the use of computers and programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
