What You ll Do
Provide face-to-face patient care in a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit
Conduct patient evaluations and rounding in accordance with CMS guidelines
Complete documentation including discharge summaries, care plans, and post-admission evaluations in Cerner EMR
Prescribe medications, review pre-admission screenings, and conduct face-to-face visits
Participate in scheduled team conferences on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient treatment plans
Ensure timely patient assessments within 24 hours of admission
What You Need
Required:
Valid license to practice medicine in Michigan
BLS certification
Experience with adult inpatient rehab or PM&R procedures
Preferred:
Prior inpatient rehab experience within a hospital setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
