Requirements

• Required certification: Tele
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: MS/Tele, osteoarthritis of any joints, fractures of any bones 3. Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS; mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified - alert account manager at submittal 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; EOW weekends; Day/Eve ratios 5:1 (stretch 6-7); Night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10) 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; will not allow more than 1 week RTO in contract 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any combo of navy and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: MS/Tele equipment including chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy management, wound vac Critical: Must float within scope; Epic charting required; phlebotomy and IV placement competency mandatory; block scheduling preferred but not guaranteed.
