The Registered Nurse reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The RN will provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity, both field, office and remote as needed covering programs in Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland and Atlantic County. Salary: Starts at $37.23 - $38.46/hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience) What Devereux Looks for in YOU Responsible for completing annual Nursing Assessments for each residential individual. Conduct quarterly choking assessments for each individual in day only and residential programs identified as high risk. Review all dietary changes for day only and residential programs. Conduct specialized training for new hire orientations, boot camp classes and ongoing as needed. Review medications charts, labs and medication counts to ensure accuracy within the group home. Assisting group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed. Review charts to ensure all required documentation has been received. Qualifications Must be licensed to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey. One year of nursing experience preferred, but New Grads will also be considered. Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor. Have a strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs. Comfortable traveling to different group homes. Devereux is a drug‑free workplace, drug screening required.
