We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic or hospital-affiliated practice setting. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing patients, managing acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. This full-time position requires 3+ years of post-residency experience and proficiency with the Epic EHR.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic adult medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and monitor treatment effectiveness, safety, and adherence.
Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other investigations.
Provide preventive care, health screenings, immunization counseling, and wellness education.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, nutrition, lifestyle, and disease management.
Coordinate referrals and ongoing care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
Active and unrestricted Texas medical license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Current DEA registration.
Current BLS certification.
Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making skills.
Experience with electronic health records.
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Internal Medicine experience.
Experience with Epic EHR.
Hospital and outpatient clinical experience.
Experience with chronic disease management and preventive medicine.
Experience participating in healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
Current ACLS certification.
