Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Data & Account Migration Specialist to support a large-scale business initiative focused on consolidating customer purchasing activity across multiple legal entities into a single legal entity and ERP environment. This role plays a critical part in reviewing customer account information, validating data, communicating changes to customers, and supporting the overall migration process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, customer communication, and process improvement while contributing to a high-impact organizational project.

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate customer account information across multiple systems.
• Perform account cleanup activities including updating addresses, contact information, and account records.
• Support customer migration efforts from multiple legal entities into a consolidated purchasing structure.
• Prepare and distribute customer communications, FAQs, vendor information packets, and project notifications.
• Execute mass email campaigns to customer groups and track responses.
• Conduct customer outreach via phone and email to answer questions and assist with the transition process.
• Collaborate with internal procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure accurate customer and vendor setup.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and project progress.
• Identify data discrepancies and proactively resolve issues.
• Work independently while following established project guidelines and documentation.

Essential Skills:

• 2-4 years of customer service, account support, customer operations, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including filtering data, sorting information, updating and editing spreadsheets, and managing large volumes of data.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with customer account data or master data management.
• Experience supporting ERP transitions, account clean-up initiatives, or system migration projects.
• Previous experience communicating with external customers regarding business process changes.

Work Environment:

This position is fully onsite with core working hours from 7am to 5pm. There is flexibility in start and end times.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
