Job Title: Human Resources Assistant Location: New Braunfels TX 78002 On Site Work Contract Length: 5+ Months Assist the Human Resources department in carrying out HR programs and procedures for company employees. Support employee lifecycle processes, maintain HR documentation, provide administrative support, assist with onboarding activities, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managers. Required 1–3 years of Human Resources experience Experience carrying out HR programs and procedures Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions Experience providing HR policy and process guidance to employees and managers Experience supporting onboarding and new hire activities Experience handling confidential employee information Experience with benefits administration Experience with employment verification requests Experience maintaining HR documentation and document control Experience preparing reports and correspondence Administrative support experience Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Daily Responsibilities Process employee lifecycle transactions Follow up to ensure HR paperwork is complete Provide information to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures Refer complex HR issues to HR Consultants Assist with post-employment paperwork, including I-9 verification using E-Verify Assist with drug screening, background screening, post-accident, and random screening programs Prepare employment forms and maintain HR documents on the corporate intranet Process employee lifecycle paperwork according to company procedures Support benefits administration and wellness programs Maintain document control Process employment verification requests Prepare reports and correspondence Provide general administrative support to the HR department Team-Specific Responsibilities Monitor classes of new hires during self-study sessions Proctor pre-exams and ensure testing compliance Monitor completion of company compliance courses Meet and greet new hires Provide daily instructions and class guidance Escort new hires to assigned classes Track attendance Track licensing exam results in Excel Coordinate vendor instructor sessions Communicate student progress and class updates to managers Respond to emails from managers, licensing teams, and students using Outlook Track course completions in OneSource (training provided) Preferred Experience with I-9 verification and E-Verify Experience supporting drug and background screening programs Experience with onboarding coordination Experience tracking licensing or training completion Experience in an HR training or learning environment Experience using OneSource (or ability to learn quickly) #J-18808-Ljbffr Strategic Staffing Solutions
