Future Lower Campus Teacher

Palm Beach Day Academy, established in 1921, is an independent, coeducational school serving students from age 2 to Grade 8 on two campuses. The Lower Campus, which teaches students from two years old through Grade 3, seeks a full-time elementary teacher for the upcoming school year. Palm Beach Day Academy seeks to educate the whole child fostering a love of learning in a student-centered environment. A successful candidate will: Be motivated and enthusiastic Be organized and flexible Work hard and be kind Solve problems collaboratively and creatively Display a passion for teaching young children Requirements The lower campus teacher is responsible for: Planning and implementing curriculum Using a variety of teaching strategies within a co‑teaching, collaborative model Planning and conducting small and large group lessons that meet standards Encouraging and supporting student‑driven learning Valuing the student experience Being a committed team member Selection Criteria Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary level (ideal, but not required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience integrating technology with curriculum #J-18808-Ljbffr Palm Beach Day Academy, Inc.
