Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active and valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license
• Previous school-based OT experience
• Familiarity with ECATS documentation systems
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse range of student needs
• Tech-savvy with virtual meeting/interview comfort

Key responsibilities:

• Provide Occupational Therapy services within school settings based on student IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with ECATS and state guidelines
• Create engaging, functional activities to promote student participation and independence
• Travel between assigned locations as required and participate in school meetings

The contract period is tentatively scheduled from August 10th, 2026, through June 1st, 2027, with a dedicated 37.5-hour work week. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, and the selection process is underway, with official offers anticipated after July 1st.
