TheraSphere Associate Representative - Hawaii/San Diego

About the Role Boston Scientific’s TheraSphere Associate is a transitional role that prepares candidates to become a Sales Consultant within the Interventional Oncology Division. The Associate works within a regional territory, collaborates with the Regional Manager and Sales Consultant, and supports sales revenue through customer engagement, education, and new business opportunities. Responsibilities Build strong customer relationships through routine visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, product in‑services, procedural observation, and problem resolution with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, Materials Management, Nuclear Medicine, Hospital Administration, and Infection Control. Provide procedural support in a competitive environment. Work seamlessly with Sales Consultants to increase their selling time. Lead revenue‑generating projects and goals to support account ownership. Collaborate with Sales Consultants and Region Sales Managers to evaluate business conditions and sales trends. Assist in developing quarterly and annual business plans to achieve revenue targets. Provide timely updates to the Regional Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, and industry trends. Manage the expense budget and promotional budget within guidelines and maintain Sales Rep Assigned Inventory (SRAI). Complete required training on schedule. Follow compliance regulations and internal policies. Execute quarterly and off‑cycle inventory counts and maintain accurate records of sales and purchase orders. Submit administrative paperwork in a timely manner. Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advanced Policies, and Integrity Policies. Occasional weekends, trade shows, internal meetings, and meet travel commitments of 30–40%. Qualifications Minimum of two years of relevant business experience. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a business discipline, or an associate’s degree with plans to complete a BA/BS, or equivalent experience. Documented sales success. Self‑starter, solution‑oriented, team player with proven leadership qualities. Strategic thinker who recognizes their contribution to the big picture. Energetic, enthusiastic, determined, and goal‑oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment. Compensation The anticipated annualized base amount is $60,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan, and benefits that can be reviewed at Legal and Safety Information It is unlawful to require or administer a lie detector test for employment.
