Assembly Worker

Job TitleAn associate performs line assembly operations to produce pre-assembled components that are necessary to complete the seat product for the heavy-duty truck industry by performing the following duties.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.Ability to read a print and to use the print in the production of a finished part.Ability to utilize a process sheet to aid in the production process.Work as a team member in a group setting, such as a work cell (cross training).Identify problems that affect quality and ability to assemble.Ability to train new employees in the assembly process.Follow and adhere to safety rules and regulations, employee handbook to be included (housekeeping, rules, etc).QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat.
