Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Deliver care during night shift hours including weekends and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Float within scope to like units as needed, consistent with expectations for all staff nurses
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; locals are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with qualifying ICU and/or Stepdown experience will be considered
