Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of general and vascular ultrasound experience and ARDMS registry. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in general and vascular ultrasound Associate's degree required ARDMS registry required BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start Active license required if applicable Experience with Epic charting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn relevant computer applications Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment Responsibilities Hospital-based outpatient ultrasound department setting Performs general and vascular ultrasound procedures, excluding ABIs, segmental pressures, echo, and breast imaging Uses Epic for charting 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week Rotating weekend and after-hours call requirements Perform ultrasound procedures according to physician specifications, including patient positioning, immobilization, and imaging Coordinate examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care Submit required images and clinical information to radiologists for interpretation Evaluate image quality and maintain appropriate documentation Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership Utilize and maintain department supplies and equipment Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative, multi-functional team environment Returning employees must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before eligibility for a new travel assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-743578 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
