What a Day Looks Like
Join our production team in Newark, OH and keep sophisticated equipment humming. As a Precision CNC Production Operator, you’ll kick off each shift reviewing blueprints, setting up machines to spec, and running first-piece checks to verify accuracy. Throughout the day, you’ll monitor quality, fine‑tune settings, document output, and collaborate with teammates to keep work flowing smoothly.
Your Impact- Configure and run multiple types of production machinery based on job specifications and technical drawings.
- Track machine performance, perform first‑article inspections, and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety procedures rigorously and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Record production data accurately and escalate abnormalities to your supervisor promptly.
- Work cross‑functionally to streamline processes and improve throughput.
- Help onboard and coach new operators when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training a plus.
- Hands‑on experience operating production machinery (CNC exposure preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem‑solving instincts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routings, and technical documentation.
- Solid understanding of shop safety and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
- Material handling experience and safe movement of components.
- CNC machine setup and changeover skills.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing systems and workflows.
- Setting up machines for repeatable, efficient production runs.
- Clear, professional communication across shifts and teams.
