1st Shift Mig WelderPosition: WelderShift: 1st ShiftStandard Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PMOvertime Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:40 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PMCore ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on custom stainless steel enclosures (approximately 80% of the role)Perform TIG welding as needed (approximately 20% of the role)Weld brackets and enclosure components in both vertical and horizontal positionsGrind, finish, and polish welds to a Grade 4 finishRead and interpret blueprints to complete custom fabrication projectsAssist in the fabrication department during slower welding periodsMust-Have QualificationsStrong MIG welding experienceWorking knowledge of TIG weldingExperience welding stainless steelAbility to grind, finish, and polish weldsBasic blueprint reading skillsAbility to work independently on custom, one-off projectsPreferred QualificationsExperience with mild steel and structural steelFlux core welding experienceStick welding experienceFabrication experienceExperience working in custom manufacturing environmentsJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glencoe, MN.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
