Partner, Team Member Relations

Summary Statement The Partner, Team Member & Labor Relations will assist with labor relations and human resources matters. This role is responsible for gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents and records required for contract and policy development, investigations, and negotiations. Additionally, this role will deliver company strategic objectives through engagement with operational areas to help minimize risk and liability for the organization. Primary Job Duties Serve as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of team member complaints. Effectively manage cases of team member related issues such as complex TMR issues, disciplinary actions, grievances, legal issues, policy interpretation/application, and investigations. Ensure action is taken within set SLAs and provide insight and feedback to managers and stakeholders as appropriate. Investigate and evaluate cases of team member dissatisfaction or misconduct, interview members and stakeholders, visit affected departments, review policies, and document facts. Report findings and consult with HR and Operations leadership on appropriate responses and solutions. Collaborate and consult with various departments, establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, and coordinate investigation activities with HR, Legal, Compliance, and other experts. Work closely with HR Managers and Directors to provide counsel and facilitate prompt resolution of workplace conflict consistent with Resorts World policies, practices, and legal considerations. Collect information and data to assess cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes, including management and union proposals, pay scales, wages, benefits, and working conditions. Identify opportunities for improving TMR policies and procedures based on analytics and trends and collaborate with other TMR Partners to implement solutions. Maintain strict confidentiality of information, including conversations, documents, hotline complaints, and investigations. Collect sensitive information from appropriate sources, prepare and submit investigation reports, and propose remedial action. Work closely with surveillance and security personnel to obtain investigation information if applicable. Promote direct communication, proactive problem resolution, and positive rapport among team members and managers. Complete and maintain case file documentation in the case management software, ensuring a complete picture of team member relations activity. Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources. Assist with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations and meetings with team member and labor organizations. Use personal device/cellular phone for job‑related operational tasks, review of company documents, etc. Perform other job‑related duties as requested. Qualifications Ability to draft detailed, high‑quality documentation summarizing findings, making credibility assessments, and issuing recommendations for remedial or disciplinary action when appropriate. Working knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, guidelines, and contract negotiations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to analyze situations, make independent decisions, prioritize deadlines, work under pressure, and be a team player. Excellent organizational skills and time‑management with proven ability to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Effective communication in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge of company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience Experience in team member and labor relations management. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field. Experience working in a collective bargaining agreement environment. SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification. Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience At least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. At least three years of experience in Human Resources and/or Employee Relations. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
