We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join Arrowhead Behavioral Health Hospital, a 48-bed inpatient psychiatric facility near Toledo, OH. This role offers the opportunity to focus on managing medical issues in psychiatric patients while working alongside a multidisciplinary care team. Quick Facts

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct History & Physical examinations and Medical Consultations for psychiatric inpatients
• Manage medical care of psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and behavioral health support staff
• Document clinical care accurately

Qualifications

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
• Active Ohio nursing license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience or comfort working with medically complex psychiatric patients preferred

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
