Site Project Manager

Job Summary The Project Manager provides leadership and overall responsibility for the definition, organization, and execution of capital investment projects within a CDMO environment. The incumbent manages multiple projects concurrently from Front‑End Loading (FEL1) through to final execution and close‑out, ensuring safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery in accordance with cGMP and SHE regulations. Responsibilities Oversee 3–4 projects with a portfolio value of $10M–$20M. Lead projects through FEL1 to commissioning, integrating CQV requirements. Manage EPCM relationships and vendor selection/management. Control budgets and schedules; identify scope changes and assess financial and schedule impacts. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and support technical skill development. Prepare meeting minutes and report progress, earned value, and deviations to steering committees. Ensure regulatory compliance with government regulations, Siegfried standards, and Responsible Care principles. Serve as primary contact for project issues and communicate with stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant life sciences discipline (or equivalent experience). 8–12 years of extensive experience in a chemical plant or pharmaceutical CDMO environment. Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent professional certification (e.g., PE license). Preferred knowledge of CQV, cGMP/ICH Q7A standards. Proven success managing a capital portfolio of $10M–$20M and leading at least two $5M projects from concept through commissioning. Strong experience with EPCM scope definition, selection, and ownership. Proficiency with project management methodologies (FEL1/2/3) and project control tools. Excellent verbal and written communication; self‑starter and initiator. Willingness to travel to various sites for project oversight.
