## What You Will Be Doing

* Handle substantive aspects of commercial litigation and business disputes from inception through resolution.
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
* Manage discovery, including document production, written discovery, and discovery-related disputes.
* Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial-related proceedings.
* Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys and other members of the litigation team.
* Communicate with clients regarding case developments, litigation strategy, and potential outcomes.
* Manage case deadlines, coordinate litigation activities, and maintain high-quality work product.
* Assist with settlement negotiations and other dispute-resolution efforts as appropriate.

## What We Are Looking For

* Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
* Active Virginia Bar membership in good standing.
* Approximately five or more years of litigation experience, ideally involving commercial litigation, business disputes, or complex civil matters.
* Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
* Experience with pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and litigation strategy.
* Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Maryland and/or DC Bar admission is a plus.
