Activities Coordinator

Overview Our senior living community is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join a team committed to enhancing the lives of residents, families, and the broader community. Responsibilities Participate with the Activities Director in creating a multi‑faceted daily/monthly calendar that is suitable for all levels of care. Lead activities and encourage resident participation. Assist with administrative tasks such as posting daily calendars, maintaining resident sign‑up sheets, and ordering supplies. Assist with the planning and implementation of activities that meet the interests of all residents. Create and update the daily/monthly activities calendar. Promote resident participation in activities and events, motivating and engaging each resident. Support residents who lead activities, fostering a sense of pride. Transport residents to events when necessary, using company vehicles. Key Qualities Energetic, personable, enthusiastic, creative, and imaginative. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong empathetic listening ability. Knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging. Ability to motivate and positively influence residents.
