Buyer Regular Full-Time Full-time El Paso, TX, US The Techline, Inc. Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products and materials to meet the needs of customers and internal operations. They will build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor market trends to secure the best pricing and terms. They also collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align purchasing strategies with customer demand and company objectives, ensuring a consistent and cost-effective supply of quality products. This job operates in a professional office environment. Role and Responsibilities Manage inventory to achieve inventory turnover and customer satisfaction goals. Study seasonal trends, customer feedback, and consumption patterns, adjusting the product mix accordingly. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and regularly evaluate their performance. Balance open orders with demand and stock levels to optimize inventory levels. Manage slow-moving inventory and implement strategies to minimize excess stock. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and develop purchasing strategies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in a buying or procurement role preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Available to work extended hours as needed. Required Skills and Abilities Strong negotiation and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Proficiency in inventory management and purchasing software. Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
