THE OPPORTUNITY

The Financial Services Assistant plays a critical role in the Financial Services Department. This individual will contribute to various accounting related functions including monthly reporting and account reconciliations, accounting analysis, financial data analysis, preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and other duties.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WE CAN COUNT ON TO…

• Review detailed reports, prepare adjusting entries, and audit reports for fluctuations or changes that need to be
• Balance subsidiary and general ledgers, internal DDA accounts, Fed account, Correspondent accounts or other accounts as assigned.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting for ALCO and Board of Director
• Assist team with call report, ProfitStar, and FHLB account activity as
• Serve as a resource for others in the department and fill backup roles as
• Maintain appropriate records, archive, prepare necessary reports, file and serve as an information source for the
• Assure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS…

• Associate degree in accounting; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
• Knowledge of financial practices, principles, and regulatory
• Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of the Make mathematical calculations and draw logical conclusions
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
