Pay $20.25 - $25.00/hr (Based on Experience) Join Our Team Steel Tool & Engineering is a growing aerospace manufacturer producing high-precision machined and fabricated components for the aerospace industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented Zone Inspector to help ensure quality throughout our manufacturing process. If you have experience with inspections, blueprint reading, measuring tools, and GD&T, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform inspections throughout the production floor Verify products meet customer and engineering requirements Identify and contain quality issues before parts move to the next operation Conduct process and product audits Assist with calibration and gage management activities Train and support employees on proper gage usage Work with Team Leads and Quality Engineers to resolve quality concerns Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance product quality What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience preferred Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Knowledge of GD&T required Strong attention to detail Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to perform detailed visual inspections in a manufacturing environment Why Work at Steel Tool & Engineering? 100% Company-Paid Medical Insurance $300 Monthly Medical Waiver (if eligible) Dental & Vision Insurance for Employees and Dependents Company-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Plan Paid Holidays Paid Vacation #J-18808-Ljbffr Steel Tool and Engineering
