Role Description The Food Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service to guests in a fast-paced, on-site dining environment at our Lakewood, NJ location. This full-time/part- time role includes greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering orders accurately and promptly. The Food Server will check on guest satisfaction, respond to requests, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Additional daily tasks include handling payments, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, following food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting teammates during peak hours. The role requires consistent professionalism, reliability, and a guest-first mindset. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and handling concerns professionally. Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including basic knowledge of menu items and dining room procedures. Clear and respectful Communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and kitchen staff. Basic Cooking or food handling knowledge is helpful for understanding menu preparation and assisting with simple food-related tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
