Accountant needed for busy, well established home builder & developer in the Poconos. Please note we are not accepting agency submissions or headhunter outreach for this position.
** Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: **
- Manage all day to day bookkeeping functions using Quickbooks Enterprise for multiple entities.
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll (outsourced through Paychex).
- Maintain bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Year end reporting, 1099's, W-2's and collaboration with CPA.
- Request bank draws on all construction contracts.
** Requirements **
- 5+ Years experience in an accounting office.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in accounts payable/receivable management, balance sheet schedules and account analysis.
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation tasks.
- Excel skills are expected.
