Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operating and assuring quality of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment. This role supports a hospital interventional radiology program with CT, ultrasound, IR, and cath lab rooms.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• BLS certification.
• State radiologic technologist license valid for practice in Texas.
• Experience scrubbing and circulating in an IR setting and working in IR lab environments.
• Experience with CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures and routine cath/IR case support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospital-based interventional radiology or cath lab.
• Familiarity with a variety of IR procedures including CT-guided biopsies and drainages, ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages, and cath lab interventions.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
• On-call requirement: shared on-call coverage seven days a week.
• Typical team: day staffing example includes multiple RNs and technicians; unit staff count approximately seven.
• Equipment in use: CT, ultrasound, IR, and cath lab rooms.
• No floating requirements.
