Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering strictly to established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and execute regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Provide assistance during specimen collection processes and appropriately prepare samples for further testing as necessary.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and maintain the laboratory's quality standards.
• Uphold a pristine, secure work environment while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
