The Division of Colorectal Surgery at Saint Peter's University Hospital offers expertise in diagnoses and treatment of many colorectal conditions with laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgeries with the assistance of the da Vinci Surgical System.

The surgeons at Saint Peter's specialize in several colorectal specialty procedures and diagnoses:

Colonoscopies: Colorectal Cancer Screening Strategies, Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Polyps of the Colon and Rectum, ESD/EMR.
Colorectal Cancer: Anal Cancer, Carcinomatosis, Colon Cancer, Rectal Cancer, Recurring Rectal Cancer
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD): Crohn's Disease, Perianal Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Indeterminate Colitis.

Schedule: Full Time position includes a mix of Office consults, OR and Endoscopy days
Call Schedule: 1:6 nights, every 6 weekends. Emergencies are handled in the ER
Support Staff: Multispecialty Surgical Practice includes RN, Medical Assistant, Surgical Coordinator, Physician Assistant, Residents, Administrative Staff.

Requirements:
MD or DO New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
Completed residency in General Surgery
Completed fellowship in Colorectal Surgery
Board certified or eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ABCRS)
DEA and New Jersey CDS licensed or eligible for licensure
Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from $175,000 - $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
