About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years (1 year medical surgical experience required + 2 years Emergency Room experience) License: Currently licensed and registered in Client to practice as a registered professional nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred - CAH experience is a must - Ability to multitask and hit the ground running Description: The emergency room has 15 beds along with 10 acute beds. Registered Nurses will be required to cover all types of patients as the emergency department is slow. Covid vaccination is preferred, exemptions accepted. All requested time off must be included with the candidate's submission and profile. Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications are required. The charting system used is EPIC. No guaranteed time off during orientation week, when the unit is closed, Holidays, or in weeks with requested time off.
