Location: Kent City, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $20+/hour- depending on experience
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team in Kent City, MI. In this short-term position, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to produce high-quality precision parts while meeting production goals and maintaining efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to produce precise components.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances and standards.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company guidelines.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy when running machines and inspecting parts to maintain high quality standards.
Problem-Solving: Helps troubleshoot issues with machines or production processes to minimize downtime.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and work with CNC equipment and measuring tools effectively.
