At Encore Village of Schaumburg, you'll do much more than provide daily care-you'll build relationships, offer reassurance, celebrate progress, and help our residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home. This position is 7am-7pm in our skilled area. Did you become a CNA because you wanted to help people? YES? We would like to meet you! Responsibilities: Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility. Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted. Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager. Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's. Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach. Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity. Qualifications/Requirements: Current State of Illinois C.N.A.
