Rhino Medical is seeking a Board Certified General Diagnostic Radiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting a hospital-based practice in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves interpreting general radiology modalities, performing minor procedures, and covering clinical duties primarily during daytime hours.

This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, typically 1-2 weeks per month, with shifts varying between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Providers will work within a modern practice setting featuring PACS, voice recognition technology, and the EPIC electronic medical record system. The workload includes a moderate volume of inpatient and outpatient cases, with an emphasis on general diagnostic imaging and minor procedures such as CT/US-guided abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, and thyroid FNA.

Providers interested in subspecialty fellowship training in radiology are encouraged to apply, although subspecialty fellowship is preferred but not mandatory unless procedural skills are relevant. A focus on general radiology, procedural experience, and Ohio licensure are essential to this role.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• General Diagnostic Radiology Locum Tenens
• Ongoing assignment, 1-2 weeks per month
• Shifts varying from 7:00-4:00, 7:30-4:30, 8:00-5:00, or 8:30-5:30
• 8 hours daily, including a 30-minute to 1-hour lunch, with no overtime
• Case volume typically 60-100 cases/day, with approximately 50% cross-sectional imaging
• Modalities include CT, US, and X-ray
• Procedural volume of 2-5 minor procedures daily (excluding fluoroscopy)
• Modern practice environment with PACS, voice recognition, and EPIC EMR
• Workflow involves reading old-to-new across inpatient, outpatient, and STAT queues

Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpretation of general radiology modalities including CT (unenhanced head, C-spine, Level II trauma), US (including first trimester), and X-ray
• Performing CT/US-guided procedures such as abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, and thyroid FNA
• Managing inpatient and outpatient case mixes with variable volumes
• Coordinating with hospital and outpatient teams to optimize patient care and workflow
• Delivering approximately 7 wRVU/hr productivity based on daily case volume

Candidate Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology
• Ohio medical license or IMLC LOQ (License to Practice in Ohio)
