About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Compunnel Healthcare to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Alamogordo, New Mexico, 88310!

RN - Emergency Room - NIGHTS

SHIFT: MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE (IN-TIME VARIES 3P-7P)

**MUST have at least 2 years experience, with most Recent Experience in ED - Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma**

Type of patients: clinic type patients to strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, BH, and all things ED.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

1. 2 years of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

1. Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
2. Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
3. Current PALS certification required (AHA only)
4. Current TNCC certification required
5. RN License in state of NM or compact

Position Requirements:

Education/Skills

1. All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
2. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and an Emergency Department- specific competency validation.
3. All newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation. Skills completion and competency completion will be achieved with the preceptor at the bedside and documented through the program’s tracking software.
4. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.

Experience

1. One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
