Must-Have:

• Competence in performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication to gain confidence and cooperation from patients and their families.
• Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
• Responsibility for performing specific procedures and assisting in orienting other staff to the department as needed.

Description:

Competently performs routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures. Delivers accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their families through competent patient assessment. Monitors patients attentively and communicates effectively with healthcare providers. Adheres to all regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May be responsible for performing specific procedures and helping orient other staff to the department.
