Tax Manager

We are currently seeking very experienced tax accounting professionals at the Tax Manager level within our Tax Service line at our Dallas, Texas location. As part of our talented team of tax accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of tax engagements. Responsibilities Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns. Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services. Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions. Assist with the development, training, and mentoring of staff and interns. Recognize opportunities to provide new and innovative services. Show willingness to learn new tax skills that the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group offers, including public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, international, cross‑border and expatriate compliance services, and transaction advisory services. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Current CPA, EA, or equivalent. Minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience. Ability and willingness to travel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn firm technology. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ProSystems Engagement software. Experience with tax research software. Hours of Operation Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Flexibility to work additional hours will be needed at peak times.
