Install new electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair existing electrical systems to ensure they function safely and efficiently. Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using testing devices and electrical theory knowledge. Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs accurately. Follow state and local building regulations, including the National Electrical Code, to ensure safe installations. Use hand tools (pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws) to complete work. Test and inspect electrical work to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulatory codes. Other duties as assigned requiring exceptional communication and customer service skills. Key Qualifications Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components. Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, diagnose, and repair electrical problems.
