Tribal Transportation Assistant

Incumbent provides transportation and assistance to identified tribal groups in a Tribal Government vehicle to and from various locations and ensures vehicles are properly maintained.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
• Child Passenger Safety training certification required (will train)
• First Aid & CPR certifications required (will train)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle CDL and Public Service licenses
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and assist passengers in and out of vehicles
• Familiarity with computers; ability to maintain written records and logs
• Selected candidate must pass the background check and continue to be eligible for employment in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe's Indian Child and Family Violence Prevention Policy
• Selected candidate must successfully complete a State of CT and Federal DOT motor vehicle background check and must continue to maintain licensing requirements
• Must comply with the Mohegan Tribe's Drug Free Workplace/Employee Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy (Policy #83)
• Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement)
• Selected candidate must meet and continue to meet all DOT Driver Qualifications and Regulatory Requirements
