For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.**Key Responsibilities*** Research, develop, and design computational algorithms to design and operate highly integrated energy systems to achieve optimal energy efficiency.* Develop automated computational workflows based on open-source packages notably in Python.* Deploy workflows to Carrier design teams.**Basic Qualifications*** Must be currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any engineering field.* Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.* Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.**Preferred Qualifications*** Theoretical foundations and practical experience with optimization algorithms, including discrete optimization and non-linear programming.* Familiarity with thermodynamics and HVAC systems* Coding skills in Pyomo, Python and Jupyter.**Pay Range**The annual salary for this position is between $43,500.00 - $87,500.00 annually.
