Do you thrive in supportive environments where your compassion and clinical skills make a real difference?Attain is seeking a Mental Health Group Facilitator to lead engaging, person centered Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) groups within our partner nursing homes. This unique role blends mental health support, therapeutic engagement, and relationship-building with residents who benefit greatly from structured emotional and behavioral health programming.If you enjoy forming meaningful connections, value dignity in aging, and want a role where your presence truly matters this position is for you.What You'll DoFacilitate meaningful TBS groups that support emotional health, coping skills, motivation, and quality of life for nursing home residents.Adapt group content to meet the cognitive and emotional needs of older adults, including those with medical complexities or mild cognitive impairment.Collaborate closely with facility staff and our on-site clinical team to ensure residents receive consistent, compassionate care.Complete documentation (group notes, progress updates, Medicaid paperwork) accurately and on time.Support resident engagement by encouraging participation, fostering connection, and creating a safe, respectful group environment.Participate in ongoing supervision & professional development as part of a supportive and collaborative behavioral health team.QualificationsMust hold QMHS or QMHS III (REQUIRED)Experience facilitating behavioral health or substance-use groupsExperience working with older adults, long-term care, or medically complex populations strongly preferredStrong communication skills, empathy, and an ability to connect with residents patiently and respectfullyAble to work independently in off-site facilitiesReliable transportation requiredMust meet Ohio Medicaid and background check requirementsPreferred Skills & AttributesWarm, compassionate approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older adultsExperience with EHR systems (training available)Trauma-Informed Care training or willingness to obtain within 90 daysComfortable in nursing home environments and able to walk/stand as neededFlexible, adaptable, and comfortable traveling between locationsWhy Join Us?Make a meaningful difference: Your groups may be the highlight of a resident's day.Supportive team culture: You'll receive ongoing supervision, clinical support, and opportunities to grow.Mission-driven work: We are committed to improving behavioral health access for aging adults a deeply underserved population.Predictable daytime hours: Most groups occur during standard daytime schedules
