Shift Manager

The restaurant is owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products. For employment purposes, the franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at this location. Description We seek a Shift Manager to lead a fast‑paced McDonald’s restaurant. The Shift Manager plans and manages daily operations, delivering high‑quality customer service while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and profitability. Responsibilities Lead the crew and other managers during each shift to maintain fast, accurate, friendly service. Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take corrective action to meet McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, and profitability; communicate with the next Shift Manager to ensure smooth transition. Assist departments in meeting their goals and track performance metrics. As a Shift Manager, you may be responsible for Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a flexible, positive attitude. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills are required.
