• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Physicians), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Midwives)
• Hours/Week: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Locum (Travel/Temporary)
• Licensure/Certifications: Ohio Medical License (required), Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN preferred
• Experience: At least 2 years in obstetrics and gynecology, previous hospitalist experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide OB/GYN inpatient care on a busy Labor & Delivery unit
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Assist with routine and complicated deliveries, including cesareans and VBACs
• Perform gynecological procedures like tubal ligations and surgical gynecology procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, CNMs, and other providers to ensure quality patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Support call coverage for midwives during evening shifts

What You Need:

• Valid Ohio medical license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN experience, including labor and delivery
• Strong procedural skills in obstetrics and gynecology
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Preferred:

• Previous hospitalist or inpatient OB/GYN experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system

About the Assignment:

This assignment is based in the Labor & Delivery unit at a leading facility in Warren, Ohio. The unit manages both low and high-risk pregnancies, with onsite lab and ultrasound support. You will join a team of dedicated RNs and CNMs, ensuring comprehensive care to diverse obstetric cases.
