Job Description
Title: Radiologic Technologist - CT

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
- Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in some states, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
- At least two years recent experience in field

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
- Maintains accurate records and ensures the integrity of patient medical images adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Manages supply inventory and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
