Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking motivated and compassionate Activity Director to lead our life enrichment team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role ensures that residents have the opportunities for engagement, enrichment and enhanced qualify of life.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in activities or life enrichment in healthcare or similar setting

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement monthly activity calendars and programs that support residents interests and preferences
• Coordinate individual and group activities including social recreational, and educational events
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities for residents with varying needs
• Supervise and schedule activities staff and volunteers, providing training and guidance as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress in accordance to regulatory requirements
• Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings
• Ensure activity supplies, equipment and spaces are maintained within budget
• Communicate with residents' families to promote involvement and gather program input
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to activities in skilled nursing facilities
