Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Receiving Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, verify deliveries, maintain inventory records, and ensure supplies are delivered to the correct departments. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with warehouse operations, material handling, and computerized inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Record and update shipment information using the MMIS inventory system.

• Research deliveries received without purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.

• Unpack, organize, label, and prepare materials for storage or distribution.

• Load, unload, wrap, and transport items using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

• Deliver supplies and packages to designated departments.

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Keep the receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and secure.

• Follow safety procedures when handling supplies and inventory.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld scanning devices.

• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of warehouse, receiving, shipping, or supply chain experience.

• Experience with inventory management systems, purchase orders, and material handling equipment.
